Igniting Passion, Cultivating Purpose, Leading Glenview
Glenview is a dynamic community comprised of strong businesses, thriving organizations and involved citizens. Leadership Glenview will inspire and engage the next generation of leaders in Glenview.
The program can equip attendees with the skills and network to become strong civic leaders. This annual program will select 20 individuals to attend eight workshops offered over the course of seven months, delving into the structure of the Village and the many governmental and non-governmental organizations that contribute to the community’s health, vibrancy, financial stability, and culture.
The benefits are many, according to Meghan Kearney, Executive Director of the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, which organizes the program. Potential leaders will gain an inside look at all the entities within the Village, connect with like-minded leaders, and gain team-building skills. “Most importantly,” she adds. “Through the Leadership Glenview program, participants gain the tools and vision to spark new ideas and drive positive change—transforming not just themselves, but the future of Glenview.”
Applications are welcomed from individuals who live or work in Glenview and who wish to contribute to the future of the community. Interested participants are welcome to apply by close of business June 30. The application is available through the Chamber website www.glenviewchamber.com/calendar
The program will launch on September 12, 2025 and will run ½-day workshops on the second Friday of the month, through March 2026. Sponsors for the program include: Glenview Bank and Trust and Nolan & Freund Dental Professionals.
