Celebrate the Season: Glenview’s Spectacular Holiday in the Park & Parade Returns

The Holiday in the Park & Parade will take place on Saturday, November 30 from 4-6pm starting at OLPH Church, 1775 Grove Street, Glenview continuing west down Glenview Road. This bright cheery holiday event culminates in Jackman Park where Santa and his helpers will greet children with a gift. Attendees can enjoy FREE hot cocoa and tasty treats while supplies last, free kiddie train rides, hayride and photo op in the interactive snow globe.

Holiday in the Park and Parade is not just about entertainment; it’s a way for the Glenview Chamber of Commerce and local businesses to say thank you to the community for its support. Parade Committee Chairperson Jerry Doetsch, who has led the parade for 20 years, shared his excitement, “It is so rewarding to be associated with a great chamber that gives back to the community. Seeing all of the children's faces light up when they see Santa coming to town makes it all worth it!” Doetsch said.

“The holiday parade captures the spirit of the season with its joyful blend of local business floats, vehicles and marchers, families lining the streets and the community coming together to celebrate the start of the holiday season,” said Meghan Kearney, Executive Director of the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, which organizes the event each year.

As a community event organized by the Glenview Chamber, Holiday in the Park & Parade is supported by sponsors: Busey Bank, Glenview Park District, Northern Seasonal Services and Endeavor Health/Glenbrook Hospital and BOHNHOMES Residential (Compass).
