Each year, one business and one business person are selected from a list of nominations to receive the Business and Business Person of the Year award. These awards are designed to recognize a business and/or person who have made a significant impact on the Glenview Community and showcase the people and businesses that keep Glenview strong and vibrant. Winners are not only standouts in outstanding community engagement but also have a positive effect on the quality of life with Glenview. They have various civic achievements and involvement in community service through business, civic, philanthropic affiliation, or support and demonstrate dedication to providing excellent service and/or merchandise.

Wintrust Community Banks is a pillar in the community- offering personal connection and genuine care to their customers and the Glenview business community. Founded in 1991, their goal was to be an alternative to the big banks and have a culture of giving back to their community. Kevin Christell from Edward Jones
Kevin Christell has been involved in many community and civic organizations in Glenview, including Kiwanis Club, Glenview Park Foundation, Northfield Township Food Pantry, 4th of July Commission, and many more. He is a dedicated and selfless volunteer who is always giving back to the community. In addition to his volunteerism, Kevin Christell has a 41 year financial advisor career with Edward Jones where he built his career on integrity, trust, and genuine care for his clients.
