Matthew Doetsch, Sr. began his career in real estate in 1942 and started Doetsch Realty in 1948. His son Matt became a broker in 1959 and joined the business. Jerry met his future wife, Caryl, at Glenbrook South when she was 14 and he was 15. Now they’ve been married for more than 26 years. Caryl is a teacher in Glenview. Their son plays football at the same school where Jerry played football in high school, and Jerry’s coach’s son is now his son’s coach.
