TIF Planned for Former Avon Site
The Village Board of Trustees has initiated steps to establish an economic redevelopment tool to facilitate the redevelopment of the former Avon Products property on the northeast corner of Waukegan and Golf roads.

Sales Tax Rollback
As of January 1, 2013, the final portion of the Stroger sales tax increase was eliminated, reducing the County sales tax to 0.75%. The cumulative effect of the sales tax cut will yield roughly $440 million in savings for taxpayers, easing a significant burden. More news from the County…
