Empower Glenview Program: Solving Challenges, Growing Businesses
Glenview, IL – March 3, 2025 – Glenview Chamber of Commerce is proud to launch Empower Glenview, providing transformative sessions designed to coach business leaders through solving challenges to grow their businesses.The free program fosters coaching and collaboration to equip Glenview business leaders with the tools to overcome challenges and fuel growth.
In today’s dynamic business climate, Glenview entrepreneurs face significant hurdles, from decision-making under uncertainty to driving growth and adaptability. In partnership with Becky Thalmann, Founder of Vivica Partners, the Chamber will host business coaching forums throughout 2025, offering Glenview business owners direct access to tools, strategies, and peer collaboration to help them thrive.
The Glenview Public Library will sponsor the first Empower session on May 5, 2025. Lindsey Dorfman, Executive Library Director shared that “The Library is always looking for new ways to support Glenview’s business community, and this partnership is the perfect opportunity to connect entrepreneurs and business owners with expert guidance and the robust resources we offer. With support from an experienced business coach and access to the Library’s databases that help with market research and consumer insights, along with a wealth of business guides and books, local businesses will have everything they need to tackle challenges and make informed decisions with confidence. We’re excited to be part of this initiative and to work with the Chamber of Commerce to help Glenview businesses grow and thrive.”

Access to a Business Coach in Residence
Renowned business coach Becky Thalmann, a Certified Professional Coach, will serve as the program’s Business Coach in Residence. With over 20 years of leadership and business development experience, including a decade at Google, Becky will deploy her experience in a tailored way.
Craig Solomon, President of the Glenview Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and Executive Director of Wesley Child Care, shared his enthusiasm for the program, “We are excited to offer this new initiative that will drive measurable impact for business owners and the broader community.
