Cabaret comes to Glenview!! 

Our last "Pasta & Puccini" night was such an overwhelming success that Zingarella will be hosting our second live music “Cabaret” night on Sunday, July 27, 2008 at 6:30 PM.  Evening will feature professional singers performing popular Broadway showtunes and cabaret favorites.  Singers are professional artists from New York and Chicago, including Zingarella’s own proprietress, Bonnie Brock. 

Evening also features a five-course gourmet meal and free-flowing wine and beer.  Meal includes Tomato Florentine soup, Caesar salad served in parmesan crisp, Mediterranean tart with goat cheese and kalamata olives, Zingarella’s signature stuffed pork chop with spaetzle and red cabbage or sauteed Corvina fish with sweet potato gnocchi and fresh vegetables and a decadent chocolate dessert.  Tickets are $75.00 and include meal, wine, beer, tax, gratuity and show.  Call for special pricing on parties of eight or more.  Reservations are required as seating is limited.  Tickets are now on sale.  Please call 847 657 0707 for more details or to purchase tickets.  

Also, in case you have not heard, Zingarella is now open seven days a week and serving Sunday Brunch and dinner.  Sunday brunch features a la carte omelets, eggs benedict, crepes, French toast and more.  Brunch is served from 10AM until 2 PM and dinner is served from 4 PM to 9 PM.

As we pass our first year in business the tavern has become the talk of the town.  You can't help but notice all the cars outside, now here's what's been happening inside.

Drop into Hanson Brothers Tavern from Tuesday to Saturday evening and you’ll be in for a musical treat. From Chicago-style Blues by the likes of Sammy Fender and the Bluesmasters, Lil’ Ed, or Skiptowne and the Greyhounds, to local classic rock favorites The Harry Peter Project and John McHugh andCompany, there’s something for everyone. Tuesday and Wednesday are Jam nights where anything can happen and usually does.

Great food from our kitchen is available from 6 PM until Midnight most nights and on selected days during the lunch hour.

Springtime will bring the opening of the outdoor patio, where the ever-popular baggo game can be played for free.Tournament play for all levels begins in May.
