Business Contacts:
It’s a numbers game. The more people you meet, the more new customers or
clients you develop. As a member, you will have access to more than twenty-five
special events and activities throughout the year, attended by your potential
customers.
Government Affairs:
In the decisions that affect your business, our Local Government
Affairs Council actively, represents your interests with our
local government. The Chamber will keep you informed on the latest
state and federal legislation that impact upon business.
Home Hugger Service:
This program sends a package filled with assorted brochures, coupons,
special offers and gifts from Chamber members to new families
in town. Participants will receive the delivery service plus
a list of names and addresses to which deliveries were made for
your further marketing purposes for about .15 cents a contact.
Labels and Lists:
One membership list is available free (one per year) to our members
upon request, or on labels for a nominal fee. We also maintain
a list of all businesses in Glenview, about 1,100 companies total.
Membership Directory:
Also know as the Community Resource Directory is published every
two years and distributed to all residents and businesses in
Glenview. This guide has valuable community information and recognizes
our members as committed to a better community.
Publicity and Marketing:
Key leaders in business, government, education and the media receive
and read Chamber publications. As a member, you will be listed
and promoted in our Resource Directory, welcomed in our newsletter
and in our monthly Pioneer Press column. News about your business
can be included in our newsletter. Visibility and exposure are
the keys to effective marketing.
Referrals:
Here is how it works: Over 2,000 people contact the Chamber each
year for recommendations. Only Chamber members names are given.
Plus, members usually buy from fellow members whenever possible.
